The highly anticipated return of the best luau-style charity event is finally here! Lavapalooza, now in its second year, is a full day and night of luau-style food, island cocktails and live entertainment - all for a charitable cause. On September 13th, escape to a hidden paradise and enjoy Trader Vic's signature Mai Tai's, a variety of Polynesian island activities and live entertainment by the Tongo Hiti band. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB), a non-profit organization that delivers over 22 million pounds of food and groceries a year to a variety of people in need. Come and support a great cause with a day of tiki festivities.

The festivities will begin at 1:00 p.m. by the Hilton Atlanta poolside. Feast from multiple food stations created by Chef Michael Broderick serving Crab Rangoon, BBQ Oven Spare Ribs, Whole Crispy Suckling Pig and much more. In addition, there will be tiki bars complete with Trader Vic's world famous fruity concoctions, beer selections and spirit options. As if good food and drinks weren't enough, Lavapalooza will feature raffle prizes plus various activity stations such as limbo contests, hula lessons and live ice carving demonstrations.

Tickets in advance are $20 and $25 at the door for an all day ticket. All day tickets include one drink/food coupon and admission to the after-party at 8 p.m. Without an all-day ticket, it will be $15 for admission to the "after-party" at 8 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
